Elvis Moyo signs for Dynamos

BULAWAYO Chiefs fullback Elvis Moyo has penned a two year deal with Dynamos after opting not to renew his contract with financially troubled Amakhosi Amahle. 

His manager Trust Nyambiya of TK Sports Agency confirmed the move.

“Elvis Moyo is now a Dynamos player. We are still weighing options when it comes to his twin brother Kevin who also has a number of offers locally and regionally,” said Nyambiya. 

Elvis joined Chiefs in 2021 and helped them win their maiden piece of silverware, the Chibuku Super Cup in 2022. 

He has won five trophies, two league titles, the Chibuku Super Cup twice and one Castle Challenge Cup in 2019 with FC Platinum.

Elvis has also played in the prestigious Caf Champions League and the Confederations Cup. 

He, together with a number of players are on their out of Chiefs who are struggling to pay salaries.

Midfielder Perfect Chikwende is linked to a move to FC Platinum. The trio of Authur Musiyiwa, Mthokozisi Msebe and Malvin Mkolo is reportedly on its way to Highlanders.

Dynamos on the other hand appear to have managed to acquire the Congolese forward Eli Ilunga. He is expected to partner with Nyasha Chintuli, who is joining DeMbare from Manica Diamonds.

Ilunga’s teammates at Black Rhinos, Gareth Madhake and Farai Banda, have snubbed DeMbare.

Madhake signed for Ngezi Platinum Stars while Banda is now a Manica Diamonds player. — @innocentskizoe.
