Emakhandeni family burial today

THE three family members from Emakhandeni suburb who died in a mysterious fire on Sunday night will be buried today at West Park Cemetery.A Bulawayo funeral parlour, Exodus Funeral Services has offered to take over the burial expenses of Mrs Chipo Mudinzwa and her son, Cleopas (37) and daughter, Christine (29) who were burnt to death in a suspected suicide case when fire gutted their house at Number 1852.
The family’s property worth thousands of dollars also went up in smoke.

In an interview yesterday family spokesperson Mr Thomas Mudinzwa, said they had finalised burial arrangements.
“The burial will be tomorrow at West Park Cemetery at 11am. The funeral service will be done at Exodus Funeral Services at 10am.
“Everything has been finalised. We are grateful to Exodus Funeral Services for assisting us to bury our loved ones,” said Mr Mudinzwa.
On Wednesday, Exodus Funeral Services director Mr Charles Juwake said his company was touched by the plight of the Mudinzwa family hence its decision to assist in the burials.

“This is part of giving back to the community that supports us. Our doors are open to assist bereaved families who have challenges,” said Mr Juwake.

Bulawayo United Residents Association (Bura) chairman Mr Winos Dube commended the company for assisting the family.
Residents close to the family suspect that Mrs Mudinzwa and her children deliberately started the fire, judging by the events leading to the fateful day.

The residents said the family had been locking itself indoors for the past two weeks saying it was afraid of some unknown      strange creatures, which made residents to suspect that the trio had developed a mental problem.
