A girl from Emakhandeni suburb in Bulawayo is basking in the glory of acing her Grade 7 examinations whose results were recently released by the Zimbabwe Schools Examinations Council (Zimsec).

Zaquisha Buhlebenkosi Sibanda, a Hugh Beadle Primary School learner, made a clean sweep in six subjects – English, Mathematics, Agricultural Science and Technology, Social Science, Ndebele and Physical Education and Arts – attaining six units.

The 12 year old is thrilled about acing her exams.
“I so happy that I passed the exams. My hard work for all these years has finally paid off. I want to be a professional chef one day so my plan is to do well in subjects such as Food and Nutrition at secondary school,” said Zaquisha.

Her mother Ms Sipepisiwe Moyo said: “Zaquisha has always been a top performer and I’m so relieved that she passed public examinations with flying colours. This is the best Christmas present that I could get as a parent.

“I want to enrol her at a good school for Form One where she can continue to excel in her studies,”
