Former South Africa Deputy National Police Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya has been denied bail.
The Randburg Magistrates Court made the ruling on Tuesday morning.
The 59-year-old is accused of sexually grooming a 16-year-old girl and raping her 18-year-old friend.
During his lengthy bail application, Sibiya maintained that allegations that he raped and sexually groomed two teenage girls were unfounded.-ewn
