Kings of this world have only the influence that cannot go beyond the borders of their domains, but Jesus Christ rules and reigns in all the realms of life.
As we celebrate the Easter holidays, it is of prime importance to know and understand that the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus, our Saviour is the only focus and the object of our attention. Though it is good to party and merry during these Easter holidays, it is not good enough if we divert our focus from the finished works of the Cross.
There is nothing important and good in this world than to know that one’s sins are pardoned and one is reconciled with God.
That brings a sigh of relief and causes a heart to be cheerful and glad, that is what Jesus had exactly done for us when He rose from the dead. 1 John 3:1 says; Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.
From this passage of scriptures we can immediately conclude that it was practically impossible for us to be named as sons of God had it not been for His love. We were far away from God and His influence had it not been for His love that He showed to us by giving His only Son Jesus.
Romans 5:10 says, “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” This means that by birth and nature we were actually God’s enemies, He was regarding us as members from the opposition department. For Him to bring us back and reconcile us with Him, God had to allow His Son to die in our stead, that by receiving the life of His Son we might be saved.
There is nobody so loving like Jesus, nobody so caring the way He does. But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). He even died for us without our knowledge, without us having been consulted. There is nobody so great and wonderful like Jesus. While we were sunken in our mud clay of our sins, Jesus showed up to rescue us from eternal damnation.
Jesus is the ultimate. He is the yoke breaker, the sin and burden bearer. Acts 17:30 says; “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.” It’s a commandment from God for all the people of this world to give their lives to Jesus Christ. He is the one and only true Creator God. He paid the entire price for the redemption of men (Colossians1:14).
There is no sacrifice today that we can offer for our salvation except for that one and only eternal offering of the lamb of God Jesus Christ. God is not persuading, but commanding people of the whole world and regions to regard the finished works of Calvary. John 3:16 says ; For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God loved the world with all the immeasurable love. There is nothing so important and of great value than His Son Jesus whom He made to become the Lord of the heaven and the earth (Acts 17:24).
There is no great love that God can give a man that surpasses the gift of His only Son Jesus Christ. In all the possessions a man can have, if Jesus is not part of a man’s inheritance that man has nothing. All things can be taken away from a man and life continues, but not when Jesus is no more the boat driver of an individual’s life. All lives of the people of the world are controlled and monitored by the Lord knowingly or unknowingly.
My question to the citizens of the earth is, why have we taken so long in accepting the love God is extending to us? Could it be the fact that one has riches? Could it be poverty? Could it be joy and the pleasures of this world? Abraham was rich and yet he was a friend of God, He loved God with his wealth and he remained loyal to God (James 2:23).
Lazarus was so poor and yet he never forsook God such that even at his death he was carried by the angels into Paradise with his poverty (Luke 16:20-22). What’s stopping you from accepting the love of God He is offering you? God is commanding all mankind to come back to His sheepfold or else suffer eternal damnation (Revelation 20:14).
God has sent His servants into this world to show us the way we should go. It was once a question on how can people believe in Jesus whom they were not told and when there were no preachers, but now we have an outbreak of preachers worldwide (Romans 10:14&15). God has ordained his servants in every corner of the world to help and guide us in connecting with His Son.
Locally, in our nation God had anointed His servants to help us understand the mysteries of His kingdom, among them is the honourable Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa of United Family International Church (UFIC).
I have heard the man of God teaching on several subjects in the bible and I came to a conclusion that God has His own servants nurtured and prepared for us at times like this. There is no man of God I know in the land who can explain and unlock the mysteries of the word of God the way he does it.
As I was thanking God the Father who gave us Jesus as a gift, I also discovered that Jesus in His personal expression of His love to us also gave us His gift of a prophet, teacher, evangelist, apostle, pastor and a father, Prophet Makandiwa. Prophet Makandiwa is a complete package from Jesus. Among all the gifts Christ gave to me, there is nothing so important than this man. He came from the Lord with a complete tool box. He carries it all. I know some folks will have a problem with this ,but if we go to Jeremiah 3:15 and 16 we can even hear God calling men of prophet Makandiwa’s calibre as His ark.
Easter holiday is the time to focus on the Cross and embrace the gift of salvation. This is the time when we can know and understand the true meaning of love. There was never in the history of mankind when God had to remember men with such a deeper dimension of love. God gave us His best, His only Son Jesus, the Messiah. Christ rose triumphantly from the dead with us so that we can be exempted from the eternal capital punishment of the wrath of God. Accept Jesus, accept God, accept the gift of life. Embrace the gift of life this Easter holiday. Welcome to UFIC, welcome to the world of God!
