Emeralds get in the way of Chasemates

As for the Diamonds, they could hardly even get into their costumes, let alone the characters save for the ever-enthusiastic Bassey who snapped into his Ringmaster character almost immediately.

The Diamonds’ laxity led to a stern warning from Biggie, which means they had better pull up their socks.
We are yet to know for sure if the Emeralds made a good impression on Annabel and Elikem. It looks like Elikem is bought, as he couldn’t help raving about his video chat session with Kenya’s Alusa from the fake Emerald House.

As for Annabel, it looks like it will take much more than South Africa’s Busi to convince her. She told the Diamonds that Busi’s interaction with her seemed too staged for her liking so she wasn’t convinced.

It wasn’t long before Bimp observed that fake Emerald Busi had said the Emeralds usually watch them on a TV screen in their House yet she also expressed how shocked she was when she saw the Chasemates at the Party Zone on Saturday night. Oops!

Let’s take it to the Twitter streets to see what you had to say about the Emerald video chats and the week’s Task: – DStv.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness

The day started off on a very slow and mundane note in the Diamond House with most of the housemates awake and cleaning as usual. The others decided on sleeping in and not joining the others for their early morning exercise routine.

Bassey was cleaning the cupboards and sink as he usually does in the morning, he truly has become the new Natasha in the Diamond House, much to everybody’s happiness because we all know the Diamonds are not the most domestic of the two Houses.

Bassey asked Melvin to take out the trash too and he did. Not even the HoH was awake to help clean the House, what does this say about his leadership skills?
Melvin being the nice guy that he is, helped Bassey with the cleaning by wiping the dishes Bassey has washed earlier. These two could easily be the only males in the House that actually bother themselves with keeping the House clean.

Without these kinds of Housemates, we dread to think what the Diamond would be in terms of hygiene. It’s safe to say that there are still domesticated men out there, or in Biggie’s House.

Angelo, Annabel, Bassey, Dillish and Pokello are up for possible Eviction this week.

No room for privacy

If it is privacy that you are looking for, you won’t find it in the Big Brother House.
Not only do you have to deal with Biggie’s prying camera’s 24/7 but you also have to face boundary challenged Housemates every day.

On Tuesday evening Ruby lovebirds Elikem and Pokello got a quick reminder of this one true fact. The twosome were enjoying a little quality time in the bathtub together when their fellow Rubies Sulu and Cleo decided to invite themselves in for a little chat.

But instead of pouting about their interrupted private moment the duo just accepted their fate and welcomed the colourful conversation from their Zambian buddies. Oh well, they do say if you can’t beat them then join them.

Do you think that you would be able to handle the lack of privacy inside of the Big Brother House if you were a Housemate?

Oneal, Feza madly in love

Oneal and Feza’s relationship is stronger than ever, from the looks of things.
Oneza have had some ups and downs in their courtship but now it seems that whatever differences they may have had have finally been resolved. Earlier this evening during his Diary session the Ruby lad told Biggie that he feels content in his relationship.

And for most of the night the Ruby lovebirds have spent the evening looking adorable together while merrily chirping harmoniously in song together. The professional disc jockey and his performer girlfriend were the picture of happiness as they belted out a medley of love songs while the Tswana fellow tenderly brushed her face as the Tanzanian looked up at him adoringly. Talk about cuteness overload.

So clearly that awkward Rendezvous date that they shared last Saturday, in fact, helped bring them closer together. Good for you Oneza.
Are you happy to see Oneza looking so in love? And do you think the happiness will last between them?

‘100pc or bust’

The Chasemates decided to risk it all by wagering 100 percent for this week’s Task.
After impressing Big Brother for two weeks straight, the confident Diamonds decided to Wager 100 percent for this week’s Circus Task. At first, there was confusion and a stalemate of sorts after Nando refused to budge from a 75 percent wager.

“I’ve decided I’m going to sleep the whole day today so I don’t know about a 100 percent Wager”, the Tanzanian said irritably.
After Bassey gave a short pep talk about how a hundred percent Wager requires a 100 percent effort and how the Diamonds need to step their game up and stop being lazy, it was finally agreed that the full monty is the only way to go.

The Rubies, on the other hand, were quite clear that they have never slacked off and will not start now. When Head of House Sulu went into the Diary Room, he was all “100 percent or bust, Big Brother”.

The Diamonds are infamous for being lazy when it comes to tasks. Will they step their game up this week? The Chasemates have been tasked with transforming the Big Brother house into a colourful, fun circus this week.

They will perform tricks, juggle and hoola hoop for dear life, as well as for a sweet Wager Victory on Thursday evening, during the Task Presentation.
