WITH a voice that echoes the beauty of the divine, Tinashe Tsikayi, an emerging gospel artiste has released his debut solo single titled “His Love.”

From humble beginnings in school choirs to sharing stages with legendary artistes, Tsikayi’s journey is a testament to the power of faith and dedication.

“My musical odyssey began in primary school, where I discovered my passion for singing in the school choir. As I grew, so did my talent, leading me to become the worship leader in our high school church choir,” he said.

In 2014, he took the leap of faith and joined Vocal Ex, one of Bulawayo’s most renowned music groups.

Under the guidance of Vocal Ex, Tsikayi had the priviledge of working with an array of talented artistes, including Canaan Nyathi, Lorraine Stot, Mkhululi Bhebhe, Dr Tumi, and the late Eric Moyo.

He has also shared stages with renowned acts like Pastor G, Zimpraise, and Joyous Celebration.

Now, as a solo artiste, Tsikayi is spreading his wings with his debut single, “His Love.”

The song, available in diverse digital music streaming platforms, was produced by Knowledge Lwazy Masuku and features a talented ensemble of musicians.

“His Love” is a heartfelt tribute to the transformative power of God’s love.

“I wrote this song as a personal reflection of my journey as a Christian,” explained Tsikayi.

“I realised that without Jesus, I could have been lost, but His love has preserved my life, protected me from harm, and kept me in perfect health. I am a living testimony of His love.”

With “His Love,” Tinashe is poised to inspire a new generation of music lovers.

As an emerging talent, he alluded to financial frailty as one of his setbacks since, “the music business requires funding for studio time, rehearsal space, and performance outfits.”

His voice is a beacon of hope, a reminder that music can be a powerful tool for healing and upliftment.

As he continues to grow as a solo artiste, Tsikayi said he still works with Vocal Ex when an opportunity arises.

“At some point, one has to grow and that’s what happened to me and Vocal Ex. We agreed to try out solo projects and see where that takes us,” he said.

Moving forward, Tsikayi who also works with Psalms Revealed plans on his debut EP and funds permitting, visuals for, “His Love.”
