Rising literary voice Ayanda Wenzile Nkomo has released her latest work, an evocative poetry anthology titled “Voices of the Scars”. The 100-poem collection explores family, love, parenthood, womanhood, and friendship, giving an honest and relatable view of life’s challenges.

“The book delves into the scars we carry, emotional, social, and cultural, while highlighting resilience and growth. It speaks to readers from all walks of life,” Nkomo said.
Born in South Africa and raised in Bulawayo, the 23-year-old writer began her journey in Form Three, turning a simple hobby into a powerful storytelling tool. Her first works, My Lover, My Destroyer and Words With No Actions, introduced her as a voice unafraid to tackle deep emotions.

With “Voices of the Scars,” she continues her mission to inspire.
“I’m dedicated to writing and want to make an impact in the literary world. This book is a reflection of life’s struggles and triumphs, and I hope it motivates young writers to believe that their dreams are possible,” she said.
Her anthology is now available for readers eager to experience poetry that resonates with honesty and strength.
