Emirates introduces special fares promo

Emirates airlines has introduced a special fares promotion for Zimbabwean travellers who want to visit some of the world’s most popular destinations. The reduced fares, which are for a limited period only, are open to both economy and business class travellers from October 7 to October 18 for stays up to a month. The reduced fares are valid for travel up to April 10, 2014.

According to Emirates travellers can take advantage of the special offer to select destinations on certain flights, with economy class fares starting from US$345 for a return ticket to Lusaka from Harare.

Other destinations included in the limited-time offer for economy class include return tickets to London for US$915, Kuala Lumpur for US$1 115 and Shanghai for US$1 345.

Business class fares start from US$2 510 for a return ticket to Dubai. Other business class destinations included in this offer are Beijing for US$4 070, London for US$2 605 and New York for US$4 205 .

“The offer has some restrictions on specific routes and is not valid for travel during the Canton Fair (October 12-31), Christmas period (December 5-23), New Year (January 2014, 1-12), and the Chinese New Year (February 8-15, 2014). Please contact your local Emirates sales office or travel agent for full terms and conditions.

“This promotional offer gives travellers the opportunity to experience its award-winning service from its international cabin crew from more than 120 countries, gourmet cuisine and its renowned ice in-flight entertainment system, which offers passengers hundreds of audio and visual channels on demand,” the airline said.

As part of the promotion customers travelling with the airline will benefit from a generous baggage allowance of 30 kg in economy class and 40kg in business class.

Emirates operates daily flights from Harare to Lusaka and Dubai and onward to more than 130 destinations in 76 countries across six continents.

EK 713 departs Dubai every day at 0925hrs, arriving in Lusaka at 1425hrs. The service departs Lusaka at 1605hrs, arriving in Harare at 1710hrs.

The return flight leaves Harare at 1840hrs, arriving Lusaka at 1950hrs. It departs Lusaka at 2125hrs and lands in Dubai at 0640hrs the next day.

Meanwhile, Emirates is reaching out to traders who are keen to  get bargains in various destinations across the world.
