Rapper Emtee has added to his growing repertoire of skills by landing himself a role on popular SABC 2 soapie‚ Muvhango.
The award-winning Roll Up singer has been filming with the show for the last two weeks and is set to make a dozen appearances on the show, starting in June.
Emtee said acting was something he had always been interested in doing and his appearances on the popular soapie are a dream come true.
“Acting has always been something I wanted to pursue. To be honest‚ I was never trained in it‚ but I’m prepared to learn as I go along. It’s a huge deal for me‚” Emtee said.
The rapper will be playing the role of a young business graduate called Melusi.
“Melusi is cool‚ very humble and down to earth‚ but is‚ unfortunately‚ a repenting criminal because while at school‚ he used to get on the wrong side of the law.
“His family was not supportive of him‚ neglecting him as a youngster‚ which landed him with ‘uncool’ friends‚” Emtee said.
Meanwhile‚ Emtee is set to release his own clothing label next month. – DailySun.
