ZANU PF members, who are openly scolding each other on public forums and social media, are exhibiting ideological bankruptcy and need to enrol at the Herbert Chitepo School of Ideology, a senior party official has said.
In an interview this morning, Zanu PF Politburo member and Herbert Chitepo School of Ideology Principal, Cde Ishmael Mada, emphasised the importance of all party members adhering to the correct principles and upholding the values and virtues of the party.
He urged members to be wary of enemies who are pursuing their nefarious agendas to cause division within the party through the abuse of social media.
“Those people are bankrupt in terms of ideology. Our advice to the party has been that all those elected into positions of leadership should come through the school of ideology, so that they are grounded in their ideological career and in their leadership.
“The majority of those that are pursuing that agenda are ignorant in terms of our ideology, and so we encourage the party to always engage us in the school, and bring them to us, so that we assist them,” said Cde Mada.
He emphasised that the Second Republic has a clear vision outlined by President Mnangagwa.
“For stakeholders to engage meaningfully in the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2), each has a specific role to play. This role is detailed in the framework for 2026 to 2030, aiming to elevate our society to upper middle-income status,” he noted.
“As the School of Ideology, we are dedicated to helping the citizens of Zimbabwe connect with this vision and actively participate in nation-building. This can be achieved only by those who have a clear ideological understanding. Therefore, our school is at your service, ready to assist as we work together to build our nation,” he said.
