There is so much in the offing at this year’s Harare Agricultural Show including non-stop entertainment for the young and old.
Since it opened last week, show- goers have been treated to several live bands including some of the little known groups.
The 2014 edition of the Harare Agricultural Show has left no stone unturned in giving showgoers a lifetime experience to watch some of their favourite artistes live on stage. The musical show which come after the fireworks display on selected days, have proved popular among music lovers.
Scores of revellers are being entertained at the show with live bands while they wait for traffic congestion to ease during peak periods.
The other reason is music lovers would rather be entertained than go home during the rush hour when the commuter omnibuses will be charging a US$1 per head than the normal R5.
So the organisers of the Harare Show saw it fit to include entertainment after a busy day to allow people to cool off with a bit of music.
The one and half hour slots have so far drawn scores of music lovers, women and children who otherwise do not go out.
The Herald Entertainment was part of the crowd on Friday where scores of people enjoyed the gospel vibes. The line-up of performances is set to go a gear up this weekend with appearances from heavy hitters among them Jah Prayzah, Winky D, Soul Jah Love, Shinsoman and Suluman Chimbetu among others. Jah Prayzah is set to ignite the Harare Agricultural Show stage with his Third Generation Band while Suluman and the Orchestra Dendera Kings will rekindle their romance with showgoers.
Those who love Zim dancehall will be spoilt for choice with the likes of Winky D aka Ninja President, Soul Jah Love and the Conquering Family doing what they know best on stage.
