BULAWAYO Pool Association (BPA) campaigners Entumbane defended their league title with two games to spare.
Entumbane, who are led by Quinton Rollo among other masters of the billiards, maintained their fine form from last season to cap another good term.
Former champions Kings secured the runners-up spot.
“This was a fine collective effort and I must say everyone in the team is feeling on top of the world,” said an ecstatic Rollo.
With the BPA awards ceremony set to held in December, Entumbane are set take home $1 100 in prize money, a shield and 20 gold medals.
BPA acting secretary-general Ralph Mukucha said Kings are set to get $700 and 20 silver medals and the club that will secure third place will get $400 and 20 bronze medals.
Regarding to the Division One and Division One B prizes, Mukucha said the top three clubs from the two divisions will get their monetary rewards and medals after engaging in play-offs.
