CHAMPIONSHIP favourites Entumbane will play host to Heroes at Sports Inn Bar tomorrow as Bulawayo Pool Association League enters Week 18.
Entumbane are coming from a 9-4 convincing victory over Gold and Black while Heroes are confident as well after edging O.N.E 9-4. Entumbane chairman John Mahachi said his team has what it takes to maintain their lead on top of the log standings until the end of the season.
“I have a very strong squad as we aim to finish on top, so we are taking every game seriously.
“We are ready for Heroes, as we hope to lead in the doubles and finish them on singles,” said Mahachi.
Heroes lost their best player Courage Tshuma who moved to Exchange during the transfer window.
Their coach Ibrahim Sikhala is nevertheless positive they can still disappoint the championship favourites even without their best player.
“We are training quite well and we are confident we can still beat Entumbane even without him (Tshuma), a team is not made up of one individual,” said Sikhala.
Meanwhile, Gold and Black will be seeking to bounce back from their loss to Entumbane when they lock horns with Xtreme.
Kings are hoping to stay on the race when they take on Raylton after a shock defeat to Skittle Inn in their last league encounter.
