Environment Ministry hosts strategic review and planning workshop

THE Ministry of Environment, Climate and Wildlife is hosting its Strategic Review and Planning Workshop to discuss its plans for the coming four years.

The meeting is being held at a local hotel in Bulawayo.
The high-level event marks a critical milestone in shaping the Ministry’s strategic direction for the 2026–2030 period, with a focus on environmental stewardship, climate resilience, and sustainable development.

The opening session will feature the Minister of Environment, Climate and Wildlife Dr Evelyn Ndlovu who will give a keynote address with other senior Government officials also expected to make presentations.

Several parastatals under the Ministry which include the Environmental Management Agency and the National Parks and Wildlife are part of the workshop.

Development partners who include United Nations-affiliated organisations are also attending the workshop.
