AS the list of Zimbabwean artists making waves abroad continues to grow, Zim dancehall chanter, Enzo Ishall, performed for the first time in China last weekend.
He was accompanied by South African musician and Umlando hitmaker Toss.
Enzo said performing in different countries helps artists learn new cultures, broaden their knowledge and expand their artistic horizons.
“It was my first time in China and I had so much fun. I had a great time interacting with the crowd there.
“Performing in a new country offers an opportunity to connect with a new audience, explore different cultures and perspectives, and expand artistic horizons.
“It also brings a sense of excitement, as you get to showcase your work to a fresh and unfamiliar crowd, potentially gaining new fans,” said Enzo.
The singer, whose real name is Stephen Kudzanai Mamhere, said he was now focusing on the international market with the hope of making huge profits.
“There is also the money issue because the number of people who attend equals the money I receive,” he said.
