A CITY man has accused his wife of bewitching him as he struggles with erectile dysfunction.
Constant Chidziva claims his wife, Virginia Chikiti, was behind his problem after she gave him some herbs.
This matter came to light at the Harare Civil Court where Chidziva opposed his wife’s protection order application.
Chidziva said his wife bewitched him after she suspected that he was having an extramarital affair.
He said he started to encounter erectile dysfunction after taking some herbs he received from his wife.
“I admit that I called her a witch because I have proof.
“She gave me some herbs to drink and from that day, I started to have erectile issues.
“I am not chasing her from our matrimonial house or insulting her but I only told her that we can’t live as husband and wife,” he said.
In response, Chikiti denied the allegations.
“I am not a witch and I don’t know anything from whatever he was saying.
“I think, maybe, it’s God who punished him for infidelity,” she said.
Presiding magistrate, Sharon Mashavire, granted the protection order in Chikiti’s favour.
