Ex-employee kills farmer

A Marondera farmer was last Wednesday morning attacked and killed at his farm by his former female employee after an altercation over salary arrears. The incident occurred at Carolina Farm and the suspect Ruth Pakanongwa has since been arrested in connection with the murder case. Mashonaland East police spokesperson Inspector Nobert Muzondo confirmed the incident.

“The altercation ensued as a result of an outstanding salary of the accused and investigations are still in progress, he said.

“We would like to appeal to members of the public to solve their differences amicably.”
