A DETERMINED Exchange Pool Club were last Sunday crowned champions of the Bulawayo Pool Association (BPA) Cup after getting the better of highly tipped Skittle Inn on a 8-7 score-line inA� a fierce contest that attracted a full house at Entumbanea��s Espotini Bar.
Ably led by Terrence Mhindu, Darlington Dziko, Brian Dziko, Kelvin Manyame, Courage Tshuma and club chairman Timothy Garadhi, Exchange were initially down 5-1 only for them to stage a dramatic comeback and clinch the coveted title whose medals and prize money they will get at a BPA awards ceremony.
The awards ceremony will be held at Raylton Recreation Club on 16 December.

We went to edge our opponents 8-7 in the singles contest. It was a massive display of great things that team Exchange can achieve in the year to come. The cupa��s third place playoff saw star studded BPA Premier League champions Entumbane clobber a hapless Egodini 8-1.
Meanwhile, BPA acting secretary general Raphael Mukucha has revealed that the associationa��s awards event will be held soon after their Special General Meeting.
The meeting was initially set to take place on 18 November.
a�?The Special General Meeting which was advertised for 18 November was adjourned due to lack of requisite quorum.
The adjourned meeting will be held on 16 December starting at 1130hrs. The Prize Awards Ceremony will be held immediately after the Special General Meeting,a�? said Mukucha
He added: a�?All clubs in the main League Prizes and BPA Cup should bring duly completed and signed affidavit forms clearly stating the Name of Person, Bank and Account Number where the club wishes their prize money to be deposited. All teams in the consolation prizes should bring duly completed and signed affidavit forms clearly stating the Name of Person, EcoCash Number where the club wishes their prize money to be deposited.a�?
