Week 27 of the Zifa Southern Region Division One League  ill be played during the week with exciting encounters lined  up.

Log leaders, Arenel will be awarded a walkover against the already relegated Zimbabwe Saints who were fired from the league.

This will take Kudzai Mhandire’s side to 73 points and it will  be the 27th unbeaten match in 2023.

Second placed ZPC Hwange have 58 points after they dropped points in their last match against Adachi at home.

They will also not be in action as they were scheduled to face another already relegated side, Makhandeni Pirates.

This will move them to 61 points.

Third placed Talen Vision will travel to Victoria Falls to face Mosi Rovers and they will be hoping to take advantage of a bruised  Mosi side who lost their previous match 6-1 away against the log leaders.

Fourth placed Mainline and Ciwu will square off at Plumtree’s Dingumuzi Stadium in what is expected to be another entertaining encounter.

The Plumtree side will hope to use their striker Proud Khuphe’s goal scoring form which has seen him being the league’s top scorer with 15 goals.

Ciwu will also be hoping to bounce back from their recent slump in form.

Experienced gaffer Philani “Beefy” Dube’s Adachi side will take on DRC United at home. They are in fifth position and they will be hoping that they finish the season on a high note.

They drew 1-1 away at Hwange in their previous match against ZPC.

A victory for Melusi Sibanda’s men will potentially take  them up to seventh on the log table.
