EXCITEMENT is in the air as SPARES Mania Investments, the proud owners of the much-loved Luna Park Family Amusement Park, make a thrilling comeback to Bulawayo just in time for the Easter Holiday and the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).
Set against the lively backdrop of North End suburb, adjacent to the Highlanders Sports Club, Luna Park has reopened its gates, ready to welcome families and thrill-seekers with an expanded line-up of rides and attractions guaranteed to deliver unforgettable fun.
From toddlers to teens and even the young at heart, the park offers something for everyone. Among the standout additions this year is the Flying Chairs, fondly nicknamed “The Dangler”, specially crafted for children aged six months to five years. This whimsical ride promises little ones a gentle, high-flying adventure to kick off their amusement park journey.
For children under nine, the Mini Train provides a colourful and exciting ride around the park, capturing imaginations as it chugs along its playful track. The Giant Elephant Slide continues to be a crowd favourite, inviting kids to climb and slide their way into fits of laughter.
A major new highlight is the Water Walker, where guests can experience the thrill of walking on water inside a giant, buoyant balloon, an instant hit among older kids and adventurous adults.
To enhance convenience and reduce waiting times, Luna Park has doubled its payment points from three to six, allowing guests to spend more time enjoying the fun and less time in queues. Each ride is affordably priced at US$2, while premium attractions like the quad bikes and Water Walker are set at US$3.

The park is open daily from 9am to 9pm and entry is free, making it an accessible destination for all. Payments can be made via cash, EcoCash or swipe, ensuring flexibility for all visitors. Adding to the festive atmosphere are on-the-ground photo-shoots offering instant prints, which are perfect for capturing candid joy or posed family portraits that can be treasured for years.
