HOW explosive will Selmor Mtukudzi’s documentary be?

If the trailer is anything to go by, it’s likely to be a no-holds-barred documentary in which she will pour out the anger she has been battling for decades.

She revealed she has been haunted by the challenges, which have been rocking her family, for years.

Selmor feels she owes the world an explanation regarding the lies and the distortions which have been peddled over the years.

She believes she has now gathered the courage to expose some of the intimate details of the issues which have been rocking her family.

Selmor will explore all those sensitive issues in the documentary in which she will chronicle her upbringing.

An explosive trailer of the documentary revealed that there were a lot of issues which kept haunting the family of the late national hero, Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi.

The trailer was shown on Tuesday night at Sherwood Golf Club where Selmor held a cocktail to celebrate her forthcoming album titled Selmor 4.0.

The document’s trailer also exposed Selmor’s shortcomings, Daisy Mtukudzi’s alleged flaws and a broken family fibre.

Chief among the issues, the trailer touched on Tuku’s inheritance saga and also tackled his contentious will, which the family believes had some flaws.

In one of the clips, Daisy is alleged to have dumped Samantha at Tuku’s first wife Melody Murape, when they had an altercation.

Selmor also revealed in the documentary that she dropped out of school despite being a brilliant student.

She also mentioned that Tuku was upset by her move since she was the first person who had shown to be exceptionally good at school and there were some grand expectations for her on that front.

Her views, on a number of issues, are set to split opinion.

She said she is only setting the record straight through the documentary, which is now in its advanced stage of production.

In an interview with H-Metro, she conceded that the documentary will again drag her through the pain she has suffered in the past 20 years.

“The documentary was inspired by me turning 40 years old,” she said.

“I have brought in a lot of issues, a lot of stuff, the challenges I faced, the success, if there is any.

“This documentary will answer some of the questions, which have been asked over the years, and I didn’t have the platform to address those issues, which needed to be answered.

“I hope I will be able to free myself by setting the record straight.”

Selmor will officially launch her album Selmor 4.0 on Saturday at Sherwood Golf Club.

The launch starts at 7pm till late.
