Fabregas wants to stay at Barca

The ex-Arsenal midfielder is being strongly linked with a move back to England, with his former club and Manchester United said to be very keen. Fabregas has enjoyed two good seasons in the Catalan capital since his return to his hometown club in 2011, scoring 20 goals in 60 league starts for Barca.

However, with the recent signing of Neymar, it has been suggested that Fabregas could find himself sidelined. But the 26-year-old has seemingly given little encouragement to his English suitors.

“I have not opened my mouth once,” Fabregas told Marca when asked about the link back to the English Premier League. It has taken a lot for me to get where I am and I am not thinking about throwing it all away for nothing.

“If they (Barcelona) said that they didn’t want me that would be another thing, what I really want is to triumph at Barca, that has been my dream since I was small.” — SkySports.
