ORGANISERS of the inaugural ‘Face of Hip Hop & Amapiano’ have expressed delight with the response of the show.
The event will be held on September 3, at Long Cheng Plaza Car Park, from middy till late.
Local hip-hop artists are set to face off with their counterparts, in the emerging amapiano genre, at the festival.
Local rappers – Holy Ten ,Ti-Gonzi,Stunner, Voltz, Saint Floew and the man-of-the-moment Leo Magozz – will perform at the event.
The amapiano genre will be represented by South African disc jockeys from Destruction Boyz.
The Destruction Boys attract a large number of fans.
“Everything is in place and we hope fans will get real value for their money.
“Being the last day of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show, we want to give our fans variety,” said show coordinator Jack Radics.
He added:
“It’s a show that most young people have been demanding over the years.
“We have done everything to ensure the event lives to expectations.
“Security-wise, we do expect a full house and we hope fans will enjoy it.”
