The family of four-year-old boy, Leon Tadiwa Shumbairerwa (pictured), is appealing for help in the region of US$40 000 to treat a liver condition in India for the child who is now surviving on oxygen.
His father, Mr Piniel Shumbairerwa, said the situation was quite desperate and appealing for the immediate intervention of well-wishers.
“My son Leon Tadiswa Shumbairerwa was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis and l am appealing for financial help to help my son to undergo a liver transplant estimated at US$40 000.
“Currently he is surviving on oxygen with a daily cost of $5 000. I therefore appeal for assistance in any form,” he said.
