DIFFERENT versions and theories are emerging from Mabvuku where a blood-like fluid is flowing in a trench close to Kamunhu Shopping Centre.

A Mabvuku family suspects that the ‘blood’ is of their daughter, who went missing in 2011.

A source said Melinda Amos mysteriously went missing at the age of 23.

The family now believes the ‘blood’ flowing in the trench, opposite her father’s house, might be hers.

“The girl disappeared mysteriously in 2011 and she was married with no child.

“We believe that she is trying to communicate with her father.

“It’s unheard of that blood can just start seeping from underground.

Tayedza kudira mvura kuda kuwona kuti hausi muto unobuda muma gum tree here asi tatozowona kuti ayewa iri iropa,” said the source.

The developments have left residents shell-shocked after claims emerged that the fluid has been flowing since Saturday.

“All this is spiritual. We suspect that the girl who went missing in 2011 is trying to communicate this way.

“There is a need to engage sangomas,” said another resident.
