Tocky Vibes thrilled fans at the Harare International Conference Centre during Winky D’s album launch on New Year’s eve with a polished performance set to remain etched in the minds of many for a while.
Tocky left fans clamouring for more in what was probably one of his best performances at the Gaffa’s launch.
Tocky’s stage communication, interaction, and, of course, the verve he ushered, proved that he was indeed a good performer.
He sent the HICC crowd wild when he played sing along tracks like Chama, Wakatemba, Mhai, Ndini Ndorira and not to talk about Sarura Wako.
When he took to the stage at around 10pm, the atmosphere changed. He left the stage at exactly 10.50pm.
After his fine performance, fans demanded for a second round form Tocky, which was always going to be a tough one for the MCs.
Fans started shouting Chamakuvanhu, and KVG had no option but to call Tocky back on stage.
On his return Tocky sang the late Soul Jah Love song with no instrument tilted Pamamonya ipapo.
- Rapper Holy Ten, who performed earlier, received a good reception.
He performed his popular songs which comprise the likes of Ma Chills, Bhachi re Dior, Zvaifaya, Too Scared and also the people’s favourite Loss, featuring Nicky Genius.
Leo Maggoz was privileged to perform when Holy sang Fire emoji remix.
- ENZO ISHALL NAILS IT
After Tocky’s performance, Enzo Ishall rocked the stage with a top-notch performance.
Enzo had so much energy and an appealing playlist that took his fans back to street life as they danced like there was no tomorrow.
When he belted out his song Iyoyo, the crowd went wild. He walked through most of his hit songs like Ehe, Ahoyi, Masimba.
- NUTTY O WALKS INTO 2023
After Enzo’s killer performance, Nutty O took over and gave a good account of himself.
He had the honour of performing as the cross-over singer into 2023.
He looked good in denim shorts and a green jacket with white socks together with white kicks.
His playlist comprised Handipere Power, Open Doors, Kokai and Safe.
