free of charge.
For the afternoon car spinning show, children below the age of 12 who come early will not only attend for free but also grab free Easter eggs.
The family fun day will feature thrilling performances from the doyen of car spinning, Fat Cat aka Isaac Mayor and his two sons – Maurice and Shannon Mayor – who have been spinning their BMW’s for last couple of months.
The three are expected to leave Arcadia Sports Club up in smoke during the show which is also known as the “burn out”. Isaac Mayor is not a newcomer when it comes to spinning. It has been a decade since he started out with his BMW 3 Series in 2000 which he later handed down to one of his sons.
Isaac Mayor is adored within the Arcadia community for his dexterity behind the wheels.
Other spinners scheduled to take part include Fazzy L, who is one of the old skool spinners in Harare.
He has been showcasing his skills behind the wheels since 2008 and now she has promised to wow revellers.
Another car spinner, Taku aka “Spin King of Drift”, will be rocking the crowds with some breathtaking skills behind the wheels. At 20, Taku has become one of the most sought-after car spinners in Harare.
Taku will also be complemented by two other spinners – Tawie and Anonymous Spin Kid – at the show.
Tawie will be featuring at the show for the first time. As part of the showcase, there is going to be an exhibit of BMW E39 V8 which will be taken for a spin.
According to organisers, the show was a must attend for those who love to braai, drink and enjoy music.
“The show brings together all the exciting activities from fun games for children, braai, drinks to car spinning.
“It will be a great day for a family outing because there is going to be tight security from Nobsec who are some of the biggest sponsors of the show,” a spokesperson said.
