Fashion meets music

Upcoming designer Znzorzi Adby has decided to cast his nets wider in the arts industry through designing outfits for musicians that would be shooting videos.
The move, he said, was triggered by the need to complement musicians in creating good videos that could match international standards.

“Fashion and music are both art and as such they incorporate creativity and self expression.

“Stars need to dress well for videos and it is the fashion designer that makes their work visually attractive. Gone are the days when our local artists would just grab something from the back of their closet and shoot a video. We need to do it the same way renowned artistes do it,”he said. So far, Znzorzi Adby (24) has partnered with equally raw and talented musician, Amelia Patricks who has donned his designs at a number of live performances.

“I have consultation and design meetings with artistes and we decide on the desired outfits before we start working on a project. In the case of Amelia, I established that she is young and energetic. So I made her outfit stylish but with room for movement and manoeuvring,” he said.
