GOSPEL musician, Maxwell Machisi and Saints of Praise has dropped his fourth studio album dubbed ‘Nguva yenyasha’.

The masterpiece has eight songs featuring fellow artists such as Blessing Shumba, Pastor Trymore Bande and Psalms.

In an interview, Maxwell said the album was inspired by his survival from a fatal accident that left him disabled.

“I had an accident in 2016 while going to watch a soccer match between Dynamos and Chapungu.

“I injured my back and was wheelchair bound for seven years till I started using clutches up to this day. Many people died but through the grace of God I survived regardless of being disabled for life I’m just grateful that I am alive.

“This album is a message to every Zimbabwean that we should serve God in spirit and truth for we do not know our time,”.

Maxwell who has been in the industry for ten years lamented over financial struggles in the recording of his music.

“I was supposed to drop this album last year, but I didn’t have any money to book studios.

“I don’t have any instruments as well which is also another burden on my pocket.

“Regardless of all that, I’m thankful for the gospel music fans for they are always loyal and are appreciative of everything that we release whenever we can.

“I urge fellow artists to never give up singing gospel for it is not only about praising God, but it is a source of discipline for people,” he said.
