FATHER CLAIMS SON TELLS HIM HE SHOULD DIE

A HIGHFIELD man claims his son assaults telling him that he should die because he is now old.

Agrippa Katambarare said his son, Kelvin, is a wicked man and has also destroyed a lot of their household property,

“He assaulted me with a shovel and I am now afraid of him,” Agrippa told the Harare Civil Court.

“He always said that I should die because I am old so that he can return to my house.

“I want him to be barred from visiting my house because the last time he came to collect his belongings he poisoned my dog.

“I am afraid that he might poison me.”

Magistrate Sharon Mashavira asked Agrippa whether he had reported the matter to police and he said that Kelvin was arrested and he was sentenced to community service.

Agrippa said Kelvin came to his tuckshop with his friends, who had taken drugs, and they collectively mocked him.

Kelvin was in default to answer the allegations.

Magistrate Mashavira granted Aggripa the peace order and Kelvin was barred from visiting the house and the tuckshop.
