Fathers: Happy Father’s Day

Fathers

Heads of homes
Family shields
Protectors
Captains
Sympathetic, not abusive
Producers
Guardians
Parents
Torchbearers
Advisors
Inspirers
Hard workers
Listeners
Give family priority

Fathers lead by example
Fathers are friendly to their families
Fathers are responsible
Fathers are respectful
They are role models
They inspire their children
They responsibly take care of their children
They love their wives
They don’t do any form of abuse to their families
Fathers believe in harmoniously solving differences than violence
Fathers joke, smile, laugh and enjoy with their children
A happy family resembles a responsible father
Fathers empower and respect women
Fathers are nation builders

The sacrifices fathers make often go unnoticed and unappreciated.
Their value is sometimes not acknowledged.
Hence they have been called the world’s most unsung heroes.
They’re called dogs sometimes.

They have the immense responsibility of demonstrating the heart of God to their children, to leave behind a spiritual legacy.
A happy fatter is a happy family.
A happy family has a happy father.

Happy Father’s Day to all fathers.

– Obert Dube The African Poet
