FC Platinum back in Zvishavane

FOUR times in a row Zimbabwean club football champions, FC Platinum are now back in Zvishavane after concluding their two-week camp in Bulawayo.

FC Platinum yesterday posted an update about their 2023 pre-season by stating their squad was now back in Zvishavane.
“Pre-season 2023, thank you Bulawayo, it was great. The team travelled back safely to Zvishavane today,’’ posted FC Platinum on their social media platforms.

Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF)

The defending league champions were training at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, where they had access to the Main Arena as well as Pro Active Gym situated at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre.

FC Platinum, as the league champions, are preparing to face Chibuku Super Cup winners Bulawayo Chiefs in the 2023 season opener, the Castle Challenge Cup at Mandava Stadium next month.

Pure Platinum Play on January 15 announced that they had parted ways with William Stima Blessing Sasha Moyo, Nigel Makumbe, Onifade Abubakar Temitope and Evidence Tendayi.

Coach Norman Mapeza, who has won three championships with FC Platinum has brought in left back Misheck Ngwenya, Jarrison Selemani who can play as left wing or right wing and attacking midfielder Perfect Chikwende, back at Pure Platinum Play after they ditched financially troubled Bulawayo Chiefs. — @Mdawini_29
