FC Platinum missed the championship last season when they only needed a draw at home against Dynamos but they lost 1-0 giving the Harare side the edge.

Chikuni has never lost a match in all the matches he has been in charge at Platinum since last year and the fans hope he will be the first mentor to beat Dynamos after the failure by the late Benjamin Moyo and Gumbo.
Benjamin Marere, who was discarded by Gumbo and had the agony of spending six months without seeing action, still has the touch and so does Norman Togara who had been given the role of bench warmer by the same coach.

Adam Ndlovu, who celebrated his birthday last month, has proved to be one of the best coaches so far.
With his team lying on third position from 15 outings, Ndlovu has blended youth with experience in his team.
