FORMER Zimbabwe champions, FC Platinum have confirmed the departure of long-serving coach, Norman Mapeza at the end of the season Sunday.
He has been linked with a move to Castle Premier Soccer League newcomers, Hardrock in Kwekwe although sources at the club indicated that there are concerns over his perks.
Mapeza, who started his relationship with FC Platinum is 2014, has taken charge of 360 games at the Zvishavane side.
“It has been a decade of glory and transformative football that reshaped our club’s identity.
“Under his guidance, FC Platinum became the gold standard of Zimbabwean football fusing flair with grit and stamping a Platinum seal both on and off the pitch.

“Beyond the titles and accolades, Coach Mapeza built a club culture rooted in discipline, excellence, and belief,” said FC Platinum in a statement Sunday.
The club says Mapeza will remain a legendary figure at FC Platinum.
“From his passion on the touchline to the roar of Mandava Stadium, and making our mark on the African safari, Muchina weMajuzi remains a legendary figure in the story of FC Platinum.
As this unforgettable decade comes to a close, we mark the end of an era and the beginning of a legacy.
