FC Platinum digging for maximum points

11 matches.
“We still have eleven matches to play for and that is a good 33 points,” said team spokesman, Phillimon Muvengwa.
FC Platinum come into the match having collected just a point from a possible 12 points. They lost to Dynamos  at home and  were held to a disappointing draw by  Hardbody before  suffering another humiliating defeat at the hands of  Monomotapa. They were beaten by Dynamos at Rufaro on Wednesday.
FC Platinum will be missing the services of captain Zephaniah Ngodzo who has not turned up for training since he was  shown the red card against Monomotapa.
He would have been eligible to play against Dynamos, though.
Charles Sibanda, Welcome Ndiweni and Ali Sadiki are all suspended.
Young Rafeal Muduvira, who played a blinder on his debut match on Wednesday commanding the right back position well, was  unlucky to be sent off.
“They (Rangers) are fighting relegation and are in dire need of three points and that is a recipe for a good match,” said Muvengwa.
“We are concentrating on getting maximum points and we will achieve that this afternoon.”
FC Platinum played well against champions Dynamos, especially in the second half, but could not convert their chances.
Coach Tendai Chikuni has said he will throw in the youthful players because some of the seasoned players have let the club down.
Benjamin Marere was badly abused by the Dynamos fans, who likened him to a prostitute, at Rufaro on Wednesday, but, to his credit, did not respond and played his part in the match.
