In the past weeks, we have been describing 2014 as a year of supernatural speed and how God will give you momentum in all you will do as was in the case of Elijah who overtook King Ahab’s chariots by moving in supernatural speed (1 Kings 18:46).
This year your family, health, finances, works of your hands and all you do will be supernaturally touched by the speed of God. However, today I will expound to you on more keys to walking in this speed especially one of the greatest enemies of walking in the supernatural speed, power and blessings of God.
It’s like a roadblock and a huddle which is set to inhibit you from stepping into the supernatural! Women and men of all ages have been blocked and shackled for years in this one great enemy that inhibits supernatural speed and all of God’s blessings — fear!
We hear from an interesting story in the Bible that clearly illustrates keys to moving in God’s Supernatural Speed in life and how fear can drain and short circuit the miracle-working power of God. Matthew 14:23-27 says, “. . . and when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
“And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out of fear. But straight away Jesus spoke unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.”
It so happened one day that Jesus went into the wilderness and many people (5 000 men excluding women and children) came to him.
As the sun was setting the disciples said to Jesus, “Send the multitude away,” of which Jesus’ full of compassion said they need not send them away but to give them something to eat.
From a boy’s lunch box that Jesus blessed, all were supernaturally fed.
Friends, the blessing of God is powerful. Blessing is far above money and brings supernatural multiplication. It lifts you up from nothing to somebody in life. If you were not counted or considered they will wonder when the blessing takes over. They will shake their heads and say; “Who is this?”
After the supernatural multiplication Jesus was left dismissing the crowd. Disciples went alone. Never go ahead of Jesus in life.
The disciples left Him behind and headed straight into a storm on the sea where fear gripped them. If Jesus is not moving you will not move. Be like Moses who said I will not go anywhere without your presence (Exodus 33:15).
Whilst the disciples were now busy scooping water out of the ship Jesus whom they had left behind was in prayer.
When you spend time in prayer, or waiting on God, you will not be wasting time! You will actually be gathering momentum for supernatural speed.
Don’t leave Jesus behind or think time with God is wasted time. No, it will make you bold and not fear the storms of life but rather supernaturally walk on them.
Having finished praying alone later, Jesus follows his disciples who had since long gone. He walked on water. And when they saw Him “they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out of fear!”
Let me boldly tell you friends, 2014 is not a year to be afraid. No. That time is over! Fear inhibits the supernatural power of God and is a weapon of the devil. The disciples actually thought Jesus was a ghost, when they saw him supernaturally walk on water despite the contrary wind and fierce storm on the sea. What intimidated you in past years; you will also intimidate this year! O hallelujah.
You will walk on what used to scare you and cause you to be afraid. You need to shake yourself and say, 2014 I will not fear! Be it, fear of men, fear of failure, or even fear of death, or charms. No, no, no, this is not the year to be bound in fear.
Whatever juju they want to bring against you, in your health, marriage, company, finances or children; this is a wrong time. 2014 is a different year; supernatural protection is on your life.
Their goblins and juju will overtake them and rise against them. What they want to happen to others, will happen to them. If you are hearing me, this is a year to be careful.
Another problem you have also is that you open doors to fear by thinking and analysing too much thereby becoming a prisoner of fear. No. Refuse to be shackled.
Some of you worry so much such that when you get home and see a piece of cloth blown by the wind you point at it and say, “Eh umm, in Jesus name!” —not out of faith, but fear. You carefully pick it with a stick to burn it.
But inside, the heart will be pounding so hard wondering and thinking, “The gate was locked so how did this cloth get to my doorstep?”
Come on, it was blown there by the wind! You worry too much. Usatya kuroyewa (do not fear to be bewitched).
Witches were there before you were born. Even when you were a child, a teenager or even now when you are a grown man with a beard that needs to be shaved! Yet you still fear.
Listen break loose from fear today and like Jesus walk in the supernatural power of God. Despite the storms and the winds, you just walk.
It’s a year to walk, to just walk by faith! Jesus didn’t run on water, no, He walked.
I rebuke the spirit of fear in your life and declare that you shall trample and walk on all storms you will face in life!
I have also discovered that some of you fear even just to be looked at. If you fear being looked at by another Holy Ghost filled person how much more when someone heavy with charms looks at you? Come on.
Fear must go, faith must come in! O hallelujah! Say, “Enough is enough, Fear get out of my way!”
Thank God for the Lord Jesus he was there, for with speed, ‘straight away’ he strengthened his disciples.
“Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid,” he said.
Despite what the scan is saying about your health, whatever witchcraft they threatened you with, whatever circumstance you are facing right now, I leave you with the words of my Lord, Jesus, “. . . be not afraid!”
