THE second edition of “Fearless Praise Concert” returns to the Celebration Centre today after a three-year break.
Award-winning Nigerian gospel star, Nathaniel Bassey, headlines the event.
Local acts providing cover at the event include Tembalami Praise, Ellard Cherayi, Bonnie Deuschl and Janet Manyowa.
Celebration Ministries International are the hosts.
In an interview with H-Metro, Tembalami was elated to be sharing the stage with Bassey.
He indicated the event was a celebration of diversity.
“I’m excited about the concert on Africa Day (today), everything is in place and there will be a safe environment for the kids and family members who will be joining us for the worship.
“We decided to unite as Africans to celebrate this special day in worship and people from different parts of the world are dropping in for one purpose, that’s worship,” he said.
Thandi Nyoni, the show coordinator was equally excited.
“The response has been overwhelming with many wanting to come through to worship with Pastor Bonnie and Nathaniel Bassey hence the amphitheatre for a bigger crowd.
“Fearless Praise is open to anyone from any denomination.
“Although it is being hosted by Celebration Ministries International, it is open to individuals from any church, “ she said.
Tickets are going for US$10 for the Amphitheatre experience, US$20 for Standard tickets and US$40 VIP.
