Feli Nandi ropes in Ex-Q for Fill Up HICC Concert

Afro-fusion singer Feli Nandi has enlisted urban grooves legend Ex-Q to join her on stage at the highly anticipated Fill Up HICC Concert, set for the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) on August 14.

The announcement was accompanied by a lively Facebook video of the two artists dancing together and expressing their excitement ahead of the show, further raising anticipation among fans.

Ex-Q, born Enock Munachimana and popularly known as Mr Putiti, is one of Zimbabwe’s pioneering urban grooves and Afro-pop artists. He rose to prominence in the early 2000s with the hit song Musalala and has maintained his place in the music industry through a catalogue that includes Maggie, Nhema, Teddy Bear and Tsvigiri. His most recent 15-track album, Rhaka Rhaka, features collaborations with some of Zimbabwe’s leading contemporary musicians, including Feli Nandi, Killer T and Nutty O.

Feli Nandi and Ex-Q have already demonstrated their musical chemistry through their collaboration on Ndiwe, a song featured on the Rhaka Rhaka album. Their partnership has been well received by fans, making the prospect of seeing them perform together live one of the concert’s biggest attractions. Their blend of Feli Nandi’s soulful Afro-fusion sound and Ex-Q’s signature urban grooves style is expected to deliver a memorable performance and broaden the concert’s appeal across different generations of music lovers.
