Filabusi Champions Cup today

FOUR clubs – Shamba FC, Revolution FC, Pansingwe United and Tombo United will compete for the Filabusi Football League Champion of Champions Cup to be staged at Shamba, Insiza District today. An awards ceremony will be held after the final. Stanley Dube, the FFL chairman challenged top clubs to send representatives to scout for talent.

“We’re inviting all soccer lovers and player scouts from prominent football clubs to come and treat themselves to some exciting football action.

“There are talented boys that they can discover and who knows maybe some will go all the way to be future national team players,” he said.

Dube said they have lined up individual awards for the Top Goalscorer, Player of the Tournament and Most Promising Player.
