MAI Mwana hit-maker, Takura says music lovers should expect an amazing performance from him at the ZITF shutdown gig taking place at the Queens Sports Club on Saturday.
The award-winning Hip Hop artiste, who will be performing alongside Winky D, Jah Prayzah, ExQ and Novuyo Seagirl among others, said: “People should expect a great performance from me as I’ll bring out my best on stage. I promise people quality entertainment as I’ll take them on a journey from my old songs to the current favourites.”
Riding high with his Noise hit, Takura, who last weekend released a new track titled Zvemoyo, said he was working on singles which he wants to release this year. Zvemoyo is currently trending at number one on YouTube.

“Fans should expect new works from me, but as for an album, I’m not certain yet if I’ll produce one this year. But whatever happens, good music is guaranteed as I’ve been preparing great things for my fans,” said Takura.
The fast-rising artiste, who also released a music video for Zvemoyo, said he always makes sure his music is accompanied by great visuals as this is the best way to get people interested in one’s music.
“I’m very involved when it comes to my music videos and I always make sure that I give fans unique, quality videos as people in Zimbabwe now have an appreciation of visuals.”
