BULAWAYO Social Soccer League games continue this afternoon across town as the league reaches Match Day six. All games kick off at 1000hrs.

In Cowdray Park fireworks are expected when Fireworks social soccer club take on Cowdray Park Masters in a local derby.

Both teams sit at the middle of the Pool A table, occupying positions six and seven respectively after accumulating 10 points each though Fireworks have a superior goals difference. Any team that wins this game will walk away with the bragging rights especially considering that Masters last week trashed another local team 94 Strivers 8-0 to indicate a no nonsense mood during the 2019 season.

According to Darlington Dube the Cowdray Park Masters secretary, this derby is a motivator to the team as it comes with a lot of bragging rights.

High riding Man U are expected not to take any prisoners this afternoon when they take on Cream Tata at their home ground in Emakhandeni. While on the other hand Cream Tata is expected to bring their entire arsenal to Emakhandeni in a bid to bring to a halt the Man U juggernaut which is seemingly unstoppable as they have left a trail of destruction wherever they play.

In pool B Mayihlome will be out to collect maximum points and create a breathing space between themselves and 70 Combination who are breathing down heavily on their necks but only let down by an inferior goal aggregate even though both teams are at par in terms of points with 15 apiece.

Any slip ups by these teams in both pools A and B can result in positions at the top changing hands overnight as there are a number of teams who are just a call away waiting for something to happen to the pacesetters.

More drama and thrill is expected when mid-table teams Entumbane Bombers and Nkulumane lock horns at Esiporweni ground in Entumbane. Bombers Pool B winners last year will be hoping to collect three points from Nkulumane and try to cover some ground in order not to lose sight of the top teams.

As the reigning pool champions a lot is at stake for Entumbane Bombers; they have a reputation to protect hence they are expected to come out guns blazing.
