FORMER Warriors captain and Kaizer Chiefs legend Willard Katsande has begun his coaching career on a high note, guiding South African Fourth division side Crystal Lake FC to a 3-1 win over Mkhuhlu Rangers in the SAFA Enhlanzeni Hollywoodbets Regional League.

This victory puts Crystal Lake in fourth place in the league with 41 points from 20 games, just three points behind third-placed Bayern FC.

Crystal Lake FC aim to maintain fine form in their next match against eighth placed Zebras FC.

Last week, Willard Katsande was officially appointed as part of the technical team for Crystal Lake FC. The former Kaizer Chiefs star brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team, having played at the highest level for many years. His appointment is seen as a major coup for the club, and it is hoped that he will bring success to the team.
