The police Sub-Aqua Unit is searching for a 31-year-old Norton fisherman who fell into a tunnel that directs water from Lake Chivero into Manyame River on Wednesday.
Mashonaland West provincial police spokesperson Inspector Clemence Mabgweazara yesterday said their specialised unit was still looking for Tatenda Lisben of Cassa Compound. “Our Sub-Aqua Unit is searching for Lisben’s body and as of now it is yet to be located. Investigations are in progress,” he said. At around 9pm on Wednesday, Lisben and 30-year-old Francis Banda were fishing on the dam wall at Lake Chivero’s spillway using nets.

Lisben reportedly slipped and fell into a tunnel which directs water into Manyame River.
