Five die in horror accident

FIVE people died on the spot and two were injured when a BM Transport bus collided with a Toyota Allion along Masvingo Road on Saturday.

National police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the five people, who died, were on board the Toyota Allion.

“Police confirms the death of five people and the injury of two people in a road traffic accident on Saturday,” said Ass-Comm Nyathi.

“A BM Transport bus heading to Beitbridge collided with a Toyota Allion heading towards Harare along the Masvingo Road.

“The injured were taken to Beatrice Hospital and the bodies were taken to Chivhu Hospital Mortuary,” he said.
