Flamini unbeatable

LONDON. — If there is one man that should be on the team sheet every time Arsenal play at home in the English Premier League, it is Mathieu Flamini. Monday night’s 2-1 victory against Manchester City continued Flamini’s incredible unbeaten run of 52 league matches at the Emirates Stadium.

While he may not be the obvious stand-out performer in Arsene Wenger’s side, 31-year-old Flamini seems to have had quite the impact over the course of his time at the Emirates.

After Arsenal made their move from Highbury — where Flamini is the last player to score in red and white — to the Emirates in the summer of 2006, the Frenchman made his first appearance at the club’s new ground in August against Aston Villa. — Mailonline.
