Footballer flashes manhood to distract opponent

BOGOTA. A Colombian footballer reportedly flashed his manhood in front of an opponent in a bizarre attempt to distract him from scoring a free-kick on the weekend.

Independiente Santa Fe defender Geisson Perea was caught revealing his private parts to an opposing player who was getting ready to take a free-kick in a Colombian top-flight game against Jaguares de Cordoba on Sunday, according to the New York Post.

It is understood that, with the player poised to take the set-piece, Perea paused for a moment before deciding to pull down his shorts in a mischievous attempt to affect the outcome of the shot.

The 31-year-old’s side went on to lose the match, though, with Jaguares scoring a 94th-minute winner to clinch a 2-1 victory for the home side who sit quite a distance below Santa Fe on the Categoria Primera A standings.

Perhaps fortunately for Perea, he was not cautioned or sent off for the incident, which happened just a few metres away from the referee.

Many fans were reportedly left appalled by the player’s indecent behaviour, with some Santa Fe supporters calling for his expulsion from the club and sanctions to be made against him. – KickOff.com
