Footprints expose teenaï¿½ï¿½s sexcapades

A 15-year-old sexually active girl from Insuza who had a one night stand with her brotheraï¿½ï¿½s friend was sold out by her foot prints.

The lovestruck minor who cannot be named for ethical reasons sneaked out at night to her boyfriend Lungisani Ngwenya for a night sex vigil on 26 August leaving her brother fast asleep.

The two love birds ran out of luck when the girlaï¿½ï¿½s brother visited his friend, Ngwenya in the morning to ask for a cigarette and noticed his sisteraï¿½ï¿½s footprints leading to his friendaï¿½ï¿½s bedroom hut.

The girlaï¿½ï¿½s brother allegedly wrung a confession from his sister who divulged her intimacy with Ngwenya.

The girlaï¿½ï¿½s brother who could not stand the betrayal reported the matter to the police leading to Ngwenyaaï¿½ï¿½s arrest.

Ngwenya appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Evelyn Mashavakure and pleaded not guilty to a charge of sleeping with a minor and was remanded to today for judgment.

The girl told the court that she had met Ngwenya the previous day and made an arrangement to share the forbidden fruit the following night.

aï¿½?I went to his house and he asked me to remove my clothes. We had sex several times during that night. My brother asked me the following day about where I had spent the night and my relationship with Ngwenya. He said he had seen my footprints at Ngwenyaaï¿½ï¿½s place.aï¿½?

In his defence Ngwenya said the girl had lied and made him to believe that she was 17.

aï¿½?Your worship, I admit sleeping with her, I wasnaï¿½ï¿½t aware that she was a minor, she told me she was 17 only to find out that she is 15 when I was at the police station,aï¿½? said Ngwenya.

Prosecuting, Taurai Hondoyemoto told the court that the accused person proposed love to the minor on August 16 and the following day they made arrangements to spend a night together. The minor went to Ngwenyaaï¿½ï¿½s house around 9pm and they had sex all night.

aï¿½?The girlaï¿½ï¿½s brother went to Ngwenyaaï¿½ï¿½s homestead early morning to ask for a cigarette and he noticed his sisteraï¿½ï¿½s footprints. He asked her if she was having a relationship and she agreed.

aï¿½?A police report was made leading to Ngwenyaaï¿½ï¿½s arrest. The girl was escorted to St Lukeaï¿½ï¿½s Hospital for medical examination,aï¿½? said Hondo.
