A TALENTED Form 2 student at Harvard College in Gweru has built a model haulage truck that moves using batteries.

Tadiwanashe Chaboka also installed a radio in the truck which he intends to donate to businessman, Wicknell Chivhayo, for supporting his favourite comedians, Sabhuku Vharazipi, Chairman and Mbuya Mai Joni.

Tadiwanashe said Chivhayo can give the model haulage truck to his children or display it at home or in his office.

“I started making the truck on October 1 and finished it two weeks ago.

“It’s natural that I am able to make this.

“I have already built a toy car which uses batteries and is controlled using a remote.

“I did everything on my own, and these are things I grew up being able to make.

“I have a dream of making real cars and ships one day,” said Tadiwanashe.

For him to realise that dream, he will need a lot of support.
