The log leaders are visiting the railway men who were beaten 9-4 in a mid-week encounter by Entumbane. Kings are aware that any slip will see Entumbane catching up.
Kings will bank on Geshom Nash, winner of the Skittle Inn Singles Pool tournament that was played at the beginning of the month, their skipper captain Paul “Macheso” Mutizo, Muziwethu Ndlovu and Lameck Chitsuro.
Last weekend Kings survived a scare at Xtreme and they had Mutizo to thank for beating Sam Mutsvanga in the deciding game that saw the log leaders getting a 7-6 win.
Today Kings meet a Charles “CD” Dube led Raylton which is coming from a 9-4 loss to Entumbane.
Raylton, ninth on the log with 15 points will be hoping to become the first club to stop Kings’ juggernaut.
John Shoko, the Xtreme spokesman said his club, which is fifth on the log with 15 points, was ready to dent Entumbane’s championship aspirations.
“All matches are competitive but we have a group of guys that have been playing well and with a bit of luck we should be among the championship contenders.
“We have been training hard and even last week as we lost to Kings, the guys were in top form. Entumbane must be ready for some tough games,” said Shoko.
Entumbane’s hopes will be pinned on Kenny Nyandoro with Ernest Vera, Terence Tuku, Tinashe Muguyo and Shoko expected to lead Xtreme.
